Riksbyggen is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Trollhättan

What will you do?

As a Maintenance Technician, you will primarily work independently or in a team to handle routine corrective maintenance, repairs following reported faults, and maintenance projects. In addition to handling reported faults, you will also manage smaller services requested by residents and customers. Managing repair assignments in residential and commercial premises is part of the role. Continuous contact with residents, customers, and contractors is therefore an essential part of the job duties. You are also responsible for purchasing consumables and maintaining your own work equipment.

The role of Maintenance Technician is varied and offers freedom under your own responsibility. Your daily work includes, among other things:

• Routine corrective maintenance following reported faults
• Troubleshooting
• Repairs and maintenance within electrical, construction, and plumbing (HVAC), as well as minor ventilation work
• SBA (Building Maintenance) tasks
• Handling daily customer contacts
• On-call duties are included in the position

You use your mobile phone or computer to receive and report on your work. You will work both independently and together with your colleagues, and you are expected to solve challenges you face in your work on your own. You plan your workday yourself together with your colleagues and your group manager.

You have a high school education and/or a vocational education (KY) with a focus on property operations or management, or equivalent competence acquired in other ways. We would appreciate it if you have experience in similar work.

It is an advantage if you have professional certificates/certifications in plumbing or electrical work.

Since computers and mobile phones are a natural part of the work for all employees at Riksbyggen, we would appreciate it if you have some IT knowledge and can handle a computer at work. You will also be given the opportunity to develop your skills through internal training.

The position requires a valid driver's license (Category B).

About the position

The position is a permanent employment with placement in Trollhättan, but work in other locations within the market area may occur.
